The Green guppy is one that is loved by many. I started breeding Greens in early 2006. I was able to show greens for the first time late into the 2006 show season. From generation to generation, their color will vary from an apple green to a forest green. During their growth period, their colors will make drastic changes with their true and final colors showing at about 7 to 8 months of age. They are medium to large bodied with the ability to place in Best of Show when given proper care. I have won two different Best of Shows and many other Best of Show placements with this strain. I can say that these are some of the top greens in the world and with proper care they can do as well for you as they have for me.

Solid Strains
This is a strain I first acquired in 2006 and was originated in Moscow Russia. This strain gets very large and it is always fertile. They will get black etching on their scales in their body as they get older. I have used this strain in the Green class and I have done well with them including the runner-up spot in 2006 and 2007 Green class champion. This line has also won me Best of Shows. Depending on your water and lighting conditions, this line can be Green or Blue. I find it to be Green 95% of the time in my water. This strain is one I can sit there and watch all day if I had the time.
These are medium bodied fish with a color that will range from a lavender like the sub adult male in the photo to a deep royal purple. These are the brighest purples you will see on the show bech. They also have a matching dorsal, which is hard to obtain and maintain in Purples.This line was created with numerous crosses into blues and purples, so they will drop a few blues as well.

This is a strain that I have had on and off through my many years of showing. It seems that I always come back to it. This strain is large bodied. Their color will range from a royal blue to a lighter steel blue. Most males are closer to the steel blue in color.This strain is a pleasure to have in the fish room and I am sure that you will find it that way too.

Purple Moscows
This strain produces large bodied fish with a color that will range from a lavender like the sub adult male in the photo to a deep royal purple. They do have a black edge along the edge of their caudal in most of the males, which is not uncommon for Moscow's. These get very large at a very young age. This strain originated in Moscow Russia and has been bread to IFGA show standards by a US breeder over the past year. This strain still needs work to completely conform to IFGA show standards, but it is capable of doing well at IFGA shows right now.
